Pneumatic GSM Cutter is a labor-saving and efficient machine for cutting high-grammage paper samples such as paper, cardboard, grayboard, and corrugated cardboard. It is suitable for samples with a grammage of 70 ~ 3000 g / m2.
A blade of a specified shape and size comes with the machine. This sampling device is equipped with a pneumatic device, allowing the punching blade to move downward automatically to cut the sample under control. It can quickly and accurately cut the samples without pressing with a hand to obtain standard samples with an area of 100 cm².
In actual service, this pneumatic GSM cutter is not only used for cutting paper materials such as whiteboard paper, offset paper, copy paper, kraft paper, kraft liner board, ivory board, copper paper, grey board, corrugated board, but also available for cutting rubber, leather, fiber material, plastic and fabric and so on.

Difference Between Pneumatic & Manual Paper GSM Cutters
- The power sources to cut the sample are different. The manual paper GSM cutter requires you to press the lever by hand to punch the sample, but the pneumatic GSM cutter has an air cylinder to cut the sample instead of pressing it with a hand. When using the pneumatic cutter, an extra air source is required to be connected to the machine. You need to press the start button after the sample is placed in the specified area for every sampling time.
- The sample thicknesses of the paper they can accept are different. The manual GSM cutter can usually cut paper samples with a thickness of less than 2 mm, while the pneumatic GSM cutter can cut thicker samples up to 5 mm, 7 mm, or more.
- Prices are different. The manual GSM tester is cheaper than the pneumatic one. You can opt for either according to your needs.
