Zipper Fatigue Tester is an extensively used instrument to determine the fatigue resistance of various slide fasteners suffered from the repeated opening & closing.
It is applicable to plastic zippers, metal zippers, nylon zippers for footwear, bags, luggage, etc.
Test Principle
A zipper on the test piece subjected to transverse or longitudinal tension is driven to conduct to-and-fro movements at the constant speed of 30 times per minute for a given number of cycles. The operator observes whether the test zipper can resist these reciprocating motions to evaluate the fatigue resistance of the zipper.
