UL Sprinkler Test Setup China Manufacturer
The sprinkler test apparatus is used to determine the waterproof performance of luminaires based on UL test standards. It consists of a single spray head connected to a water supply pipe. The center line of the spray head keeps an angle of 45 degrees with the horizontal line. Our sprinkler test apparatus’ spray head is originally from UL to ensure they are 100% compliant with the relevant standards.
A pressure gauge and a water control valve are equipped in the front of the spray head to enable the user to control and monitor the test water pressure throughout the test. The pressure during the test is required to be maintained at 140 kPa (20 psi) at the spray head. There is a base made of aluminum alloy to hold the water pipe. The distance between the spray head and the base top is maintained in the range of 76.2 to 152 mm.
During the test, the sample needs to be positioned in front of the standard water spray head, ensuring that the center line of the spray head and the geometric center point of the sample are in the same straight line, and the horizontal distance between the geometric center point of the spray head and the sample is 915 mm.
