UL 45° Water spray Test Device Supplier
This Rain test apparatus is designed in accordance with UL standards. The test apparatus consists of 3 spray heads mounted in the water supply pipe rack made of aluminium alloy. The spray heads are made of resin material and required to be exactly constructed in conformity with related specifications, ensuring the water sprayed from the spray head covers the required area in the specified shape. Our spray heads are originally from Underwriters Laboratories, which is to ensure that its size and performance fully meet UL’s testing standards.
The three spray heads are arranged at 45° from the vertical and equally spaced. The vertical height of the centre spray head is 55mm higher than that of the nozzles on either side. Each of them is connected to a horizontally arranged mains water supply pipe via a 90°-bent water pipe.
There is a water pressure gauge and a control valve for each spray head to facilitate real-time control and monitoring of the pressure of each spray head during the test. A total pressure gauge and a main valve located at the front of the three joints of the main water supply pipe are available to enable total control of the water.

We have designed a lifting device for this rain test apparatus: when you turn the handwheel on the rack, you can freely adjust the height of the spray head up and down to suit the different sizes of specimens to be tested.
When testing, the enclosure shall be positioned in the focal area of the spray heads so that the greatest quantity of water is likely to enter the enclosure. The water pressure shall be maintained at 34.5 kPa (5 psi) at each spray head and a continuous water supply shall be applied for one hour.
