Finished Shoe Dynamic Water Penetration Tester is used to determine the dynamic waterproof performance of various finished shoes or boots. The shoes are mounted on the artificial feet during the test. It is a vital footwear testing machine used in the shoe-making industry.
Operator pours colored water into the tank until it reaches a certain depth, making sure the water contacts with shoes. Motor is actuated to drive the foreparts of sample shoe to be bent at a certain angle and frequency, simulating the walking of foot with the shoe in the water, to measure the time required for water penetrating into the inside of shoe and the number of flexes for which the test piece resists in total for evaluating the resistance of the sample shoes to water while walking in the water.
The machine is equipped with a sensing device. Once water seeps inside the shoe during the test and forms an electrical circuit, the machine will automatically sound an alarm and stop the test. The artificial feet can be raised up for specimen mounting and lowered down for testing under control. There is a touch screen on the front of the device to allow you to input number of cycles and control the test. The real-time number of test cycles and runing time are displayed on the screen throughout the test. The driving force of bending the sample shoe is allowed to be adjusted according to the hardness of the shoe material.
