IPX7 Water Immersion Test Equipment is an immersion tank filled with water to allow the specimen to be immersed in water in its service position at a depth that the specimen enclosure’s highest point is at least 0.15 m below the water surface, and the specimen enclosure’s lowest point is at least 1 m below the water surface.
After temporary immersion for half an hour, the test result is judged by confirming whether water penetration in a quantity causing harmful effects or performance impairments occurs.

The transparent water tank made up of 12 mm thick tempered glass with strong pressure resistance and 304 stainless steel.The tank size can be customized according to your sample specifications. When the water inlet valve is opened, the water will enter the tank, and its maximum water depth can reach up to 1200 mm, meeting the testing needs of most samples.
The tempered glass on all sides gives you a clear view to observe the water surface. With the help of a vertical stainless steel ruler with an accuracy of 1 mm on the water tank to measure the water depth, you can easily adjust the immersion depth of the sample by controlling the water in and out. The bottom of the water tank is equipped with casters and fixed feet for easy movement and fixation.

The most commonly used IPX7 water tank is the one (as shown on the right) whose walls are double-layer 304 stainless steel plates to guarantee enough robustness and resistance to rust and corrosion. Coupled with excellent seamless welding technology to ensure no water leakage during testing.
A rectangular piece of tempered glass extending from the bottom to the top on the front of the device facilitates users to see what’s going on inside the water tank. In addition, there is a stainless steel ruler parallel to the lengthways direction of the glass for users to accurately observe and determine the water level and sample immersion depth. A metal hook is attached to the top corner of the inner tank for hooking the string to tie the sample.

If you want to add more automated elements to IPX7 testing, AmadeTech can also satisfy you. To allow users to lower and lift the sample during testing conveniently and effortlessly, we can add four support arms and a crossbeam on the top of the above stainless steel IPX7 water tank. An electric hoist is attached to the beam and connected to a hanging basket through a wirerope. You can place the sample to be tested in the basket before the test. The lifting and lowering of the sample in the basket is controlled by a separate remote control. When the sample is submerged in water, you need to look at the ruler outside the water tank and the sample while holding and pressing the up or down button of the remote control, until reaching the desired test depth. The basket size, water tank size and overall device height can all be customized by the user.
